We can proudly announce that we passed our re-certification audit for our ISO 27001 system again. In the IFS Database, we store data from certified sites, certification bodies, auditors, consultants, and other stakeholders. At IFS, we know this involves a great responsibility.
Accordingly, we do our best to ensure that this data is as secure as possible by continuously improving our Information Security Management System (ISMS). Every year, we get our ISMS audited by KPMG Cert GmbH, a subsidiary of KPMG Deutschland, according to the requirements of DIN EN ISO/IEC 27001:2017. The auditors were pleased to see how the employees at IFS "live" information and data security in their daily business.
Compliance with the ISO 27001 requirement is a team effort and outstanding achievement. Special thanks go to our IFS colleagues Tina Brune, our Quality Management Commissioner, and René Hoffmann, our Information Management Officer, who ensure that we all know and follow the rules and regulations designed to protect us from cyber threats.
