Grupo Bimbo in Chile, shares why his company chose IFS to strengthen its food safety and quality management and develop its suppliers. Ideal in Chile belongs to Grupo Bimbo, the largest bakery company in the world. It has three production plants in Chile.

"This development program, allows us to establish a closer and more collaborative relationship with our suppliers, identify areas for improvement, and offer support to encourage continuous improvement in their processes and strengthen our supply chain", Alejandro continues.
Ideal also works with the IFS Food Standard. "We chose IFS Food certification in our bakeries, because it emphasises risk management, helping us identify and prevent potential hazards. This ensures the safety and quality of our products meet the highest international standards and strengthens the confidence of our customers," Alejandro explains.
