Dear Auditors and Certification Body Employees,
Welcome to this section which we have designed especially for you. If you are already an IFS certification body, you can find all relevant information, audits, training dates and a guideline for auditors on the right-hand side. Additional information, exclusively for you as a certification body, is available in your login area. This section is also aimed at new certification bodies or those interested in finding out more about IFS Standards and the accreditation process. We would like to thank you for your interest.
IFS now covers seven different standards that are recognised worldwide. The most well-known of these is the IFS Food Standard, which was published in 2003. Further standards added over the years are IFS Logistics, IFS Cash and Carry/Wholesale, IFS Broker, IFS HPC, IFS PACsecure, IFS Global Markets and IFS Food Store. When developing all our standards we place great emphasis on involving the certification bodies, as their experience gained during audits is taken into account in every decision.
110 certification bodies (as of 2015) carry out 16,800 certifications worldwide. This figure has been rising in recent years, as more businesses are seeking to be certified according to one of our standards. IFS is synonymous with product safety and quality, thanks largely to the good work of the certification bodies and the well-qualified auditors. That is why training at IFS is only provided by experts, who not only have practical experience but have also played a key role in developing the standards. Relevant training programmes and further development measures for your auditors can be found here.
If you have not carried out any IFS Audits before but would like to expand your services by offering IFS Audits, we would like to support you. The 'IFS Accreditation' section will tell you exactly what you need to know.
You can contact us directly with any other questions you may have.
