New IFS Face in the Benelux

Hanneke Veltman has recently joined the IFS Team. Hanneke is both a member of the IFS Integrity Program team and officially represents IFS in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxemburg.

An outspoken professional with excellent market knowledge

IFS is delighted to have Hanneke, who has extensive knowledge of the market, on the team. She is a food technologist who held several positions at leading companies within the Dutch food industry before taking over Kroonenburg Advies, a consultancy specialised in HACCP and quality assurance. Here, she also has qualified and gained experience as a lead assessor. After selling her company to Normec Foodcare, Hanneke looks forward to her new challenge with IFS.

Focus on network expansion; market development and further increasing confidance

In her new position, Hanneke will be of service to IFS's stakeholders, expand the network and further develop the market in the Benelux countries. She will also strengthen the IFS Integrity Program in these countries. "As part of IFS's Integrity Program team, I will be actively involved in further increasing confidence in IFS as a standard for food safety and quality of products and processes in the food supply chain.", states Hanneke. 1985-1989: Food Technology studies at University of applied sciences HAS Den Bosch, the Netherlands

1989-1995: Technical sales representative for NIZO and CA FNZ (Dairy Industry)

1995-2001: Technical account manager/product manager for sugar beet processor Suiker Unie (now Cosun Beet Company)
2001-2019: Owner/managing director Kroonenburg Advies (HACCP/QA. Audits, inspections, training and (label)consultancy) for retail, horeca&catering, food industry

2019-2021: Managing director of the Audits&Inspections and Label&Specifications departments of Normec Foodcare after selling Kroonenburg Advies to NFC
