IFS is committed to providing the most up-to-date training available in Food Safety. The IFS Food Safety and Quality Standard was developed with practical, yet stringent, food safety principles.

One of the first Global Food Safety Initiative benchmarked standards, IFS Food has now developed through version 5. The training seminars are based on the general principles of IFS and how the culture of the IFS Food Standard can benefit your company.

The IFS Food Standard has several benefits you should consider when choosing a Food Safety Standard:

• It is a risk-based, ractical - not prescriptive - standard which allows you to develop processes and procedures that work for your business, but maintain the high level of food safety required by retailers.


• IFS allows up to 12-months to work through any deviations found during the audit not related to food safety or legal requirements. This window provides you with time to develop and implement long-lasting improvements in your facility as well as to plan for any capital expenditures impacting those solutions.
