Requirements IFS trainers
- Fulfil requirements for IFS auditors as described in section 3.2 a), b), c) and d)
- Have audit experience to GFSI standards or other food safety schemes,
- Have knowledge of food legislation,
- Have taken part in a “Train the Trainer” course organised by IFS,
- Be fluent in writing and speaking the languages they will use during participating at training and leading training; they shall inform the IFS offices about the languages they are able to use when teaching.
In order to keep his/ her knowledge of IFS up to date, each IFS trainer shall take part in a 2-day IFS training seminar every two (2) years. These seminars are organised by IFS and shall be the basis for in-house training to all auditors.

For trainers, reviewers and observers not being already IFS approved auditors, please send us the applications by filling the CV layout (same CV as provided for auditors).
Fees
The fee for the participation at the TTT training for each individual amounts to 1.250,00 EUR plus the applicable value-added tax for trainings taking place in 2012 (new fee regulation). Travel and accommodation costs will not be covered and have to be borne by the participants themselves.
General Terms
IFS ManagementGmbH is authorized to cancel the event due to circumstances beyond the control of IFS and due to an important reason (for instance acute sickness of the trainer, insufficient number of participants). In that case already registered participants will be informed immediately and already paid attendance fees will be refunded. Excluded is the right for a respective refund concerning travelling, accommodation and absenteeism expenses.
Cancellations and changes are only accepted if they are made in writing. They are free of charge if made 4 weeks prior to the event. Afterwards up to a week prior to the event the charges amount to 50% of the participation fee. If cancellations and changes are made less than 1 week before the start of the event the full participation fee is to be paid. The same applies in case of non-attendance.
